This fun, unique class teaches you how to stretch and strengthen both human and canine muscles, and how to increase physical activity without risking overuse injuries.
This class was designed by P.J. Wangsness Howle, C.P.D.T. and Beth Williams, P.T., A.P.T., to promote fun fitness for both 2 and 4 legged clients. Fido 'N Me Fitness is perfect for people and dogs who already exercise and are looking for some new ideas, as well as for those who need some help establishing an exercise routine. Both you and your dog will learn something, have some fun, and make some new friends!

Why should I exercise with my dog?
Did you know that regular physical exercise is one of the most important tools for keeping people and pets physically and emotionally healthy?
Did you know that one of the most important factors in continuing a regular exercise program is the support of an exercise buddy or partner?

Dogs are great exercise partners because they are (almost) always ready to go!
Dogs are enthusiastic, social, and never "beg off" exercise because of a bad mood, bad weather, bad hair day or a bad day at the office.
Dogs are genetically programmed to train and condition more quickly than humans, so a canine partner can keep the human motivated and challenged. For example, it might take a human 6 weeks to train for a 5 mile run, and a dog can train for the same run in 3-4 weeks.
Exercising together motivates both you and your dog, improves health, and strengthens the human-animal bond you share.
